30 Jahre Tschernobyl

Der Unfall in Tschernobyl vom 26. April 1986 ereignete sich im Zusammenhang mit einem Versuch mit der Stromversorgung der Anlage. Die darauffolgende Freisetzung radioaktiver Stoffe führte zu einer Kontamination von weiten Teilen Europas. Deren Konsequenzen für Mensch und Umwelt waren insbesondere für Gebiete in der heutigen Ukraine und in Weissrussland katastrophal.
